Information on Future Publishing Policy
of [iito]
Business Intelligence with Regard to Free Life Sciences-related
Newsletters
_______________________
Starting next week [iito] Business Intelligence will provide two
separate newsletters:
1. The [gs] Newsletter
based on www.gene-sensor.com,
publishing bi-weekly, with a focus on
life sciences.
This is the newsletter you are subscribed to. This newsletter will
continue as usual.
2. The [MSC] Newsletter
based on www.Mass-Spec-Capital.com,
publishing monthly, with a focus on
mass spectrometry
This is a new newsletter and you will only receive the first issue as a
SPECIAL ISSUE of the [gs] newsletter. If you want to subscribe to the
new [MSC] Newsletter, you can do so at
http://www.mass-spec-capital.com/index.php?script=22
In additon, [iito] Business Intelligence expects to start a third
newsletter in early 2011 and further intends to publish a fourth
newsletter in 2012.
Why this?
Actually, we have come to a crossroad, after expanding our coverage in
the area of mass spectrometry and related technologies in the last few
months.
As a result we decided to keep things straight and separate the new
initiative in mass spectrometry from our long-standing history dealing
with biotechnology and life sciences. Our life sciences businness has
an ongoing focus on genomic and proteomic technologies, bioinformatics,
molecular diagnostics and drug discovery technologies; areas that we
dealt with ever since we started [gs] back in 2002.
While mass spectrometry becomes certainly ever more important in life
sciences applications and as of today is even moving into clinical
diagnostics,
on the one hand,
– mass spectrometry will surely continue to be just a small
part of the whole life sciences market
and on the other hand,
– mass spectrometry will remain a general analytical
technology,
that has applications far beyond the traditional focus of life sciences
applications.
Therefore, as of today, it is our
pleasure to announce the launch of a
second newsletter from [iito] Business Intelligence:
The [MSC] Newsletter
The new [MSC] Newsletter will be based on our mass spectrometry web
portal www.Mass-Spec-Capital.com and will be a free, monthly
publication.
All subscribers to the [gs] Newsletter will receive the premier issue
of the [MSC] Newsletter in a few days. However, you will only
automatically receive this first issue. To receive the [MSC] Newsletter
also in the future, you need to subscibe!
There are two ways to
subscribe:
1. Simply reply to this
email and fill in the word
"subscribe" in the
subject line.
2. Go to the subscription page.
Subscription is for free and there is nothing required except a valid
email address. You can unsubscribe any time you like, with the
respective notice being included in each issue of the newsletter.
More information can be found in our press release issued yesterday,
which can be downloaded at http://www.mass-spec-capital.com/index.php?script=603.
The [gs] Newsletter will publish next week as a special
edition, the
premier issue of the [MSC] Newsletter and I hope you will enjoy this
one and subscribe for further issues!
Thanks for reading, back in two weeks!
